Malawi Project 500 - 500 Pillars of Strength
In September 2025, members of Charity Service Faith Mission’s leadership team travelled to Malawi, including our Chairman of the Board on his first visit to the country.
During this visit, we witnessed firsthand the realities many communities and schools face every day.
In one village, families were forced to collect water from a contaminated water hole. Alongside the village chief, our Chairman documented the unsafe water source - highlighting the urgent need for clean and sustainable water solutions. This moment was later shared with our church and supporters.
During the same trip, we visited a school we had never been to before and discovered multiple classrooms that were severely damaged and unusable. As a result, students were overcrowded into the few classrooms that remained safe. In other classrooms, children were learning while sitting on the floor due to a lack of desks.
These experiences made it clear that immediate action was needed.
Upon returning home, Malawi 500 Project: 500 Pillars of Strength was launched in October. The project was created to address critical needs in education infrastructure and access to clean water - ensuring children can learn in safe environments and communities can thrive with dignity.
