Field Trip to Blantyre

Rita Leleni, Malawi

My name is Rita Leleni. I am a 26 year old girl from Malawi. I am a beneficially of Charity Services Faith Mission Organisation. The foundation helped me through my tertiary education at St. Luke’s Nursing School. I am now a qualified nurse. Currently I am doing my internship at the big referral hospital in my country. This hospital is called Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital. I am forever thankful to Charity Service Faith Mission for making my dream come through. They came to my rescue at the point where I really needed help the most. I will forever be thankful to them for this. Lastly, my humble prayer is that God should continue giving them strength as they continue to help other people the way they helped me

Hello Jasmin and Dawn, First of all l would like to say thanks very much for the support given to us. Because at first people thought it as if they were just ordinary stories. However, those stories become reality. Also, thanks for having the initiative of starting Charity Service Faith Mission (CSFM). Indeed you deserve more than distinction. Since you visited Mtendere School in 2016/2017 school year, significant changes has happened at the school. The moment you first visited the school you found that there was not any single desk a thing that made aged girl students difficult to learn because for them to respond to questions from teachers it was a problem. As usual students respond to questions whilst standing. The school received 270 desks under your initiative which made learning easier for both girls and boys. The school also received books for starting a School Library. The Library is helping Mtendere students a lot in such a way that students are developing reading culture, teachers as well are improving knowledge capabilities through library, and the community surrounding the school will develop as well. Under your initiative also all students received school bags, exercise books, Mathematic instruments, writing pens, for both Girls and Boys a thing that boosted the Mtendere School. Girls also received sanitary pads, pants. These things helped girls to stay longer at school in different circumstances they faced. Under your initiative also we constructed a simple wash room for girls. Mtendere school students are also benefiting from the scholarships you initiated. Parents of these beneficiaries are giving more thanks to you and they praise the Lord for the wonderful job you have done. Even the students themselves they have nothing to say, they just praise the God as well because they are learning without any tuition, examinations problems and not forgetting pocket money you give them as well. Finally l give more thanks for putting Mtendere School on the Map. It has become among the best schools in Mulanje district in such the way that the school enrollment is increasing almost daily. Words cannot express our joy which we have today. We were hopeless, what we will have during this Christmas day, but God sent his angels from Canada to feed us. May God bless each and every one who contributed. We have received even soap and salt as well as snack for our children. Thank you once again for your kind heart.
