Scholarship Program

The CSF Mission Scholarship Program empowers students by providing financial support to pursue their education and achieve their dreams. Focused on removing economic barriers, the program invests in the potential of future leaders, offering opportunities to poor communities in Malawi, Africa,. By fostering education and hope, it inspires lasting change and brighter future. As of 2024, we have provided scholarships to 16 recipients from Mulanje, Malawi going into secondary and tertiary learning.

The impact of these scholarships extends beyond the classroom. By alleviating financial burdens and providing critical resources, we empower students to focus on their studies, build their confidence, and pursue their aspirations. For girls, the inclusion of hygiene products ensures they can attend school consistently, breaking down barriers to their education.

As we look to the future, we remain committed to expanding our Scholarship Program and supporting even more students. We invite you to partner with us in this mission. Your contributions can help the next generation of leaders, innovators, and change-makers in Malawi.

Join us in making education accessible to all. Together, we can continue to transform lives, one scholarship at a time.

At CSF Mission, we know that education is not only a right but also essential for reducing poverty and inequality. By ensuring that children have the tools they need to learn, we are investing in their future and paving the way for sustainable community development.

This achievement would not have been possible without the generosity of our donors and sponsors. Your contributions are making a tangible difference in the lives of these students, their families, and their communities.

Hygiene Products For Adolescents Girls

In Malawi, something as basic as access to sanitary pads can determine a girl’s future. It’s a heartbreaking reality: 1 in 10 girl miss school or drops out entirely because they lack the resources to manage their menstrual cycle. This gap in access doesn’t just affect education – it limits opportunities, perpetuates inequality, and dims the dreams of countless girls. A period should not stop girls from living and following their dreams.

At CSF Mission, we are committed to ensuring that no girl is held back by such barriers. Since 2018, we have been providing re-useable sanitary pad kits to adolescent girls attending Mtendere Primary School, Mulanje, Malawi. These kits help girls stay in school, participate fully, and work toward achieving their goals.

What the Kits Include – Each re-usable sanitary pad kit lasts up to two years and includes:

  • Two pairs of underwear

  • Five reusable pads

  • Soap for washing and maintenance

As of 2024, CSF Mission has:

  • Provided over 575 reusable sanitary pad kits

  • Distributed over 1,200 pairs of underwear

We are deeply grateful to our donors for their continued support. Together, we are transforming lives, one kit at a time. As we look ahead, we hope to expand this program to reach even more girls in need.

Your contributions can help ensure that no girl is forced to choose between her education and her health. Let’s keep making a difference - together.

Women Farming Project

Empowering Women, Transforming Communities -  President Barack Obama once said "Let us each recommit to doing our part to end hunger and poverty wherever it exists.” These powerful words resonate deeply with the mission of CSF Mission as we work to empower women and create sustainable solutions to combat hunger and poverty.

Since the launch of our “Sustainable Farming Initiative” in April 2022, we witnessed extraordinary progress in Kalilima 2 Village, Mulanje, Malawi. This program began with 30 women who were determined to make the most of the opportunity to transform their lives and their community.

Progress Beyond Expectations – When we visited the Women in Farming Project recently, we were greeted with an incredible sight.

  • Fields thriving with tomatoes, onions, mustard, Chinese vegetables, and eggplant, which the women cultivate for both consumption and sale.

  • An unexpected but inspiring addition – rice farming – planted during the rainy season (November to April), a testament to their ingenuity and dedication to utilizing every opportunity for growth.

These women are not just growing crops, they are also growing hope. They are feeding their families, earning income, and building a brighter future for themselves and their children.

Can you imagine the joy these women feel, knowing that others believe in their potential and are willing to invest in them? This initiative is not just about agriculture – it’s about dignity, empowerment, and breaking the cycle of poverty.

Why This Matters -  Empowering women through farming has ripple effects:

  • Improved Nutrition: Fresh vegetables provide essentials nutrients for their families.

  • Economic Growth: Selling surplus produce is local markets generates income, boosting the community’s economy.

  • Resilience: Diversifying crops ensures that the women can sustain their families year-round, even in challenging seasons.

Join Us in Empowering Women – The progress of these 30 women is a testament to what is possible when we come together to invest in people and their potential. At CSF Mission, we are committed to continuing this journey and expanding the reach of the Women Farming Initiative.

Your support makes this work possible. Together, we can empower more women, strengthen communities, and ensure that no one is left behind in the fight against hunger and poverty. Be a part of this transformative mission – donate today and help us grow hope and opportunity.

Food Donation

At CSF Mission, we are committed to creating lasting change by addressing the immediate and long-term needs of vulnerable communities.

Covid19 pandemic gave birth to CSF Missions starting this initiative. In 2020, we provided much needed food items for Christmas to 95 households of Kalilima 2 village in Mulanje, Malawi. Since then, CSF Mission have ensured that the people in the community we served are able to put food on the table during times of food scarcity.  Through the support of our donors and volunteers, to date, we were able to distribute vital resources which reached 1044 families from Kalilima 2 and neighboring villages.

Witnessing Growth in Kalilima 2 Village – During our visit, we were encouraged to see the remarkable growth in Kalilima 2 since our  partnership began in 2017. Families shared stories of how their lives have been positively transformed through our organization’s support. The improvements in their well-being are a testament to the power of sustained assistance and partnership.

A Message of Gratitude – The smiles and heartfelt gratitude of the families reaffirmed why we do what we do. By addressing food insecurity and empowering communities, we are not only meeting immediate needs but also planting seeds of hope for a brighter future.

Looking Ahead – As we reflect on these impactful moments, we remain steadfast in our mission to ensure no one is left behind. We recognize that growth and transformation are possible when communities have access to the resources and support they need.

Your contributions make efforts like this possible. By partnering with CSF Mission, you help us continue this life-changing work. Together we can ensure that every family, no matter how remote their village, has access to the opportunities and resources they need to thrive.

Be a part of the change. Support our mission today.

Providing Clean Water

Access to clean water is a fundamental need, yet for many communities in Malawi, it remains a daily challenge. Another project birthed out of Covid19 pandemic.  CSF Mission's first borehole installation in Kalilima 2 village Mulanje Malawi was completed during Covid19 pandemic.  Our “clean water” initiative project brought “lifesaving” water source that continues to serve 5 villages

In 2024, a new chapter for Kuntonda Village, Mulanje, Malawi – This year, CSF Mission proudly marked another significant milestone in our mission to empower communities: the completion of a borehole in Kuntonda Village, Mulanje.

The borehole represents more than just water source – it symbolizes hope, health, and opportunity. For the first time, residents of Kuntonda Village have access to clean drinking water, drastically reducing the time spent fetching water and minimizing the risk of waterborne illnesses.

Our First Visit to Kuntonda – In 2024 we had the privilege of visiting Kuntonda Village and seeing the borehole for the first time since its completion earlier this year. It was also our first interaction with this vibrant community. The villagers welcomed us with warmth and gratitude, embodying the heart and spirit of Malawian hospitality.

During our visit, we saw firsthand the profound impact the borehole has made. Women smiled as they shared stories of shorter journeys for water, and overall sense of relief and joy.

Gratitude to Our Donors – This transformative project would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our generous donor Wright/Ijore family. Their commitment to making a difference in the lives of those in need is inspiring.  Thanks to their compassion, an entire village now has access to one of life’s most essential resources – clean water.

The Ripple Effect of Clean Water – The borehole in Kuntonda is not just a solution for today – it’s an investment in the future. Access to clean water means:

  • Improved health and reduced cases of waterborne diseases.

  • More time for children to attend school instead of fetching water.

  • A foundation for community development and growth.

Join Us in Changing Lives – As we celebrate this achievement, we look forward to bringing similar solutions to other communities in need. Your support helps us continue providing clean water, food, education, and hope to vulnerable villages in Malawi and beyond. Together, we can transform lives.

Donate today to be a part of this mission.
